The constant pressure tangent pump for fire protection has the characteristics of variable flow and stable pressure, that is, within the full flow range, the pressure changes little. When the pump changes from zero flow to the required large flow range, the pressure changes within 5%, and there is no overpressure at small flow or zero flow, thus avoiding the phenomenon that ordinary centrifugal pumps cannot supply water at large flow when overpressure occurs at small flow in the fire scene.

4¡¢ Features of XBDW horizontal constant pressure tangent pump
1. The fire flow is relatively regular. The fire hydrant water supply system increases by 5L/s. The automatic sprinkler system increases with the flow value corresponding to the light hazard level, medium hazard level and severe hazard level.
2. The fire pump is used to ensure the quantity and pressure of fire water, which involves personal safety and property protection and must operate reliably. The pump body shall have reasonable structure, proper material and high reliability.
3. Generally, the fire pump supplies water directly to the fire hydrant and sprinkler of the fire extinguishing facility. In the initial stage of fire fighting or self inspection operation, the water supply is small flow, and in the fire development stage, the water supply is based on the design flow. When the flow head curve of the water pump is relatively steep, overpressure is likely to occur during small flow operation, and corresponding technical measures should be taken.
4. The fire pump is used to extinguish the fire. It is required to be fast and timely. The corresponding requirements are that the fire pump has short water diversion time and good starting performance.
